I’m 21…….

Really happy my horoscope today told me id have a great workout day! Lovely! Wish it said id have a great shopping day too, cause I don’t care, its my birthday and I’m buying myself something! I hate live with Kelly (even though it’s part of my daytime Tv lineup) but this Blonde chick whose cohosting is hilarious! She needs to have her own damn show! Ok leaving now to shop and workout, happy birthday me!


Need a vacation soon. Had too much fun in DC now I think I’m hooked on traveling!  I really would like to visit Las Vegas, New York, or baton rouge next month

Fuck PIPA!

Tried to call John Kerry but..no one answered. Added to my list of why everything in the world makes me want to not reproduce and also hopefully die. BUT as for now I will not die, I will concentrate all of my anger into getting fit and hopefully buying a lot of land in Vermont someday and a shotgun. In other news, Ive just returned home from the gym and grocery and it was such a nice time. Strange but so very relaxing. Now a change of plans I’ll do an ab workout, shower, and try and go tanning (I know I’m bad). I wish I could record what I did at the gym but embarrassingly I couldn’t if I tried! I just do loops on the different weight machines until I’m tried out, I know I should be using free weights but 1) I’m not sure how to work each specific muscle like with the machines and 2) I’m not afraid of all the guys in the weight area, they just steal all of the stuff and claim it for the entire day! But some day I will venture over there once the machines are no longer cutting it. Post workout I ate: 1/2 a cup of blackberries & 1/4 a cup of blueberries: about 60 Cal 1 Myoplex lite protein shake: 170 Cal/20 g protein

Still trying to gulp down the shake as it tastes chaulky as fuck.

But! Time to shower and if anyone is out there ans has any tips for me ie.) Better my weight training, add more protein to my diet, lose weight, idk anything! Let me know I would love input from anyone willing to help in my health quest

Also if you know of a good phone for updating tumble with is let me know! Ive been trying to use my kindle and it is not super User friendly in this department!

My Tips for “Getting Abs” -  
Eat CLEAN (NO JUNK FOOD, choose wholesome,natural sources.. see my grocery list and meal plan for an example of this!)
Do cardio (HIIT is great for fat loss)
Lift weights (revs metabolism, and increases calorie burn over an extended period of time) 
Drink water (your body needs water to perform basic functions like mobilize fat stores and build muscle)
Get enough sleep (if you don’t sleep enough, cortisol levels are raised, which promotes fat storage around the abdomen)
Avoid stress (same cortisol problem)
Eat healthy fats (fats like avocado, olive oil, natural peanut butter and almonds help you LOSE fat)
Eat lean proteins (it helps keep you satiated longer and has the highest thermogenic effect of any other macronutrient)
In addition to these, when trying to lose weight/fat.. increase your daily calorie expenditure by MOVING MORE!! Take the stairs, park further away from the store entrance, dance when you hear music, wiggle in your chair.. just get moving! It doesn’t have to be constant.. but even the little things add up! =)

Here’s what I had this morning, it was great and gave me energy to get all the stuff I don’t wanna do done this morning!

9 tbsp egg whites: 75 Cal/ 5g protein
1/2 plum tomato chopped: about 10 Cal
1 ketchup packet (haha ran out of ketchup whoops!): 15 Cal
1/2 sweet red pepper chopped: 20 Cal
1 slice of wheat bread: 70 Cal/ 2g protein
1 tbsp Better’n peanut butter: 50 Cal/ 2g protein
2 cups of Yogi green tea blueberry slim life with
2 packets Stevia in the raw: says 0 calories but I’ll round up to 5 Cal

For a total of 245 Cal and 9g of protein!

I definitely should work on getting more protein in there but…I get almost 60g with my after-workout shake. Oh well, I feel so lucky that I’m off of school until Monday but I only wish I had started paying attention to my health and fitness RIGHT when I got on break .. maybe then I’d be in way better shape! Its hardest for me on the days when I have to work (yeah ha, I work 2-3 days a week) like yesterday having to go to the gym at 6pm rather than 11am ah! It was a nightmare, every machine, weight, anything, in use! Saw so many people I know haha so today I feel so much more greatful for being able to workout during the day. Today is Wednesday the 18th so it has been 16 days since I decided to make a change! Ive been working out 6 days a week, trying my best to eat clean and its starting to make a difference! I’m 5’3” and started out at 150lbs! My highest weight in ever! So now after a little over two weeks I have lost about 4lbs and the biggest accomplishments for me are 1) cooking for myself and refusing to put crap on my body 2) getting myself to the gym just about everyday 3) drinking more water (@about 50oz.would like to be at 90oz!)
Now for today:
Off to the gym for atleast an hour
Get over to the bookstore to buy books for classes
Do some ab workouts at home
Shower
Pick up a few groceries 
Get Dave
Go shopping!

Fitness blogging

So I’ve been meaning to start a fitness blog for a bit now, but apparently you cannot make a new tumble with the same old email! So humoristique it is! I probably should have started this at the very beginning of my journey towards being a healthy human but hows fine too. Ill use this blog to help me track progress and inspiration!
